Desperate and the Dangerous takes place in what is now seemingly a high school. Jealousy and envy are the first lessons of the day, followed by a crash course in irrational behaviour and ending with narcissism 101. Sorry did I say high school? I meant to say any common workplace.... Somehow these  two places appear to have become the same these days.

Trying to spend most of your working day juggling all the tasks and deadlines as well as all your clients' needs can only be made more exhausting by trying to keep up with all the dramas which seem to weave their way throughout the working day.

So back to the Desperate and the Dangerous. How is it possible for a person who is so obvious in their questionable actions, to claim to be concerned or annoyed by others' reactions to their behaviour? These two things do not make sense. When an individual chooses to constantly draw attention to himself by being known as the office flirt, it’s difficult for me to comprehend how he can then turn around and claim that people may be painting him in a different light to what he thinks he actually portrays.

Perception may be subjective, but fact is fact. And it seems so easy to play the victim. Especially, when you’ve been caught out there. If your big and bold enough to be playing these games, should you not be big and bold enough to deal with the reprisals?

So that's the misguided flirt tackled. But, then, there was also another whole host of issues. The dangerous.

These tend to be the water- cooler gossip-mongers, who move in packs, without any sense of loyalty to their own. An epidemic has broken out amongst so-called friends in the office, and as an observer I have noticed the trends. It's like an episode of an Animal Planet style show, but, it seems everyone wants to be the commentator. The subject of their scathing observations? The misguided flirt, and someone who they regard as "friend"- the naive lovestuck enabled.

If your confused, join the club. No one knows who is loyal to who anymore. From the so-called friends to the hide and seek lovers. So much drama, so little time... Stay tuned for the next installment...
