Welcome back to Mane Texturez and a new Mane Review. This week's product comes from the Sahara Oil Single Bible Range of products.

Nowadays, you can still purchase the hair oil (dubbed Hair Caress oil treatment), and I keep a nozzle topped bottle on hand to apply the oil directly to my scalp, with ease and without mess!
Over the years, the Sahara Single Bible range has expanded its products, adding shampoos, conditioners, braid sheen sprays and various other products. Their product range relies on the cleansing and nourishing potency of the Aloe Vera plant. Combining it with other restorative ingredients like Rosemary oil and Henna, the range boasts the ability to strengthen, nourish and encourage hair growth.

I already use Aussie Miracle Hair Insurance leave-in conditioner as a daily hair spray (leaving my hair supple) and I use the Sahara Caress Oil directly on my scalp. However, I like to keep my strands moisturised, and sealed. Pure Shea Butter can feel a tad heavy, but the Sahara Oil light creme is light, easily absorbed and smells pleasant. Great for fine hair and/or relaxed hair, this product is great because it's light (almost whipped) texture isn't greasy and doesn't feel heavy or sticky.
With my hair in braids, my method of application is simple. Each day I spray my hair with the Aussie Miracle Hair Insurance leave-in conditioner until it is damp but not dripping wet. I find this helps my hair style a lot easier and puts more spring in my two-stand twists. Then I follow that up, every other day, with the light moisturising creme. I put a generous helping into the palm of my hand, rub together and then distribute it through my strands, including the cornrows.
The absorption is quick and my hair feels hydrated and protected from the elements!
