Grey Matter:

It seems that grey is the new black. Up and down the catwalks at New York fashion week, Grey has been making an impact throughout the collections. Designers from Stella McCartney to Phillip Lim,  and Michael Kors all sent grey down the catwalk creating a beautiful new twist on minimalist chic.

So what's so grand about grey? Firstly it's less harsh than rocking all black. It is a great all round neutral which works great against pretty much any colour you put against it. Still not sure? Look at the evidence.

At Stella McCartney, mink trousers and a nude shoe, made a grey minimalist look interesting and wearable. 

So what does the high street have to offer? Well being such a simple shade, most stores will stock clothing in greys, the key to wearing all one shade effectively however is texture. By mixing different textures and shapes in the same colour palette, you can create a highly effective series of outfits!
