Mane Texturez Week 19
Monday 16th August 2010

Mane review on a Monday? What is going on, I hear you scream. A new product in the arsenal is what!

I was first attracted to the Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Collection for purely superficial reasons. Basically, the scent is divine. It smells like the tropics in a bottle. Although that secured the attraction, it was the ingredients and claims on the bottle secured the sale. The Organix range claims that it is Luxurious Sulfate Free & Paraben Free, that it has Organic Active Ingredients, and is Safe For All Hair Types. I vaguely recall reading a favourable review on the product so I thought "why not?" and proceeded to purchase it. Since purchasing the product I have done more research on the product including reading more reviews and was quite nervous about the huge disparity in reviews.
Be warned there appears to be no middle ground with this product. It has Marmite appeal. People either love it or loathe it. I currently think that I have potential to love it. It's hard to tell after just one use. It lathers well, it smells great and after co-washing my hair with the product, my strands felt, strong, thick and soft. A nice combination. The bottle is a bit thick to handle in my opinion, so wet hands may have a few issues. But, apart from that, it is a strong product. I also purchased the Nourishing Styling Mousse and once I have used that a review will be forthcoming.
So ladies are you familiar with the range? Maybe you've used the ORGANIX Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner 13 oz/384.5 ml
or the Organix Shampoo, Nourishing Coconut Milk 13 fl oz (384.5 ml)
?
Or maybe it was the Organix Coconut Milk Mousse Weightless 8 oz.
What are your thoughts? Did you love it or loathe it?
